National Celebrate Bisexuality Day is Sept. 23

Sept 23rd is Bisexual Pride Day!
Whether a bisexual or an ally, Happy Bi Pride, be out, proud, and loud!

The 19th annual Celebrate Bisexuality Day (CBD) will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, and the following weekend, with house parties, performances, and more throughout the U.S.

Today you can come out to your friends, family, co-workers as bisexual.


Learn more about the bisexual orientation.

Make a contribution to one of the bisexual organizations such as BiNetUSA, Bialogue, the Bisexual Resource Center,or the American Institute for Bisexuality.

Join a bisexual social, political, or support group in your area or local LGBT center -- Or get involved with your local Pride organization!!

FORMER PSAC FOOTBALL PLAYER AND FIRST OPENLY GAY FOOTBALL CAPTAIN TO SPEAK AT KU

KUTZTOWN, September 8 – Brian K. Sims, the NCAA’s first openly gay football team captain, will be visiting KU to talk about the struggles he faced and overcame while attending and playing for Bloomsburg University. Sims will be presenting his speech, “LGBT Athletes & Allies”, on September 23 in Boehm 145 at 11:00 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.

After graduating from Bloomsburg University, Sims attended law school and is now an attorney and chairman of GALLOP, (Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Pennsylvania).  He currently holds the position of staff counsel for Policy & Planning at The Philadelphia Bar Association. 

Sims has been featured in OutSports and several other accredited publications such as The Washington Times and The San Francisco Chronicle.   He maintains his athleticism by participating in regional marathons and triathlons.  His stories and experiences get responses from people all over the world.
